Moro Hidráulica strengthens Finn-Power’s presence in South America

Moro Hidráulica from Las Parejas, Santa Fe, Argentina, started looking for a new machine manufacturer a couple of years ago. The company needed reliable, high-quality machines to support its own production and to serve customers in a growing South American market.

Moro Hidráulica designs, produces, and commercializes hydraulic cylinders, telescopic cylinders and oleohydraulic components for sectors such as agroindustry and industrial maintenance. With more than 50 years of experience, the company combines technical know-how, modern production technology and a strong focus on quality and customer service. Hydraulic cylinders are Moro Hidráulica’s main product, with around 35,000 pieces manufactured each year.

“As our production continues to grow, we need high-quality machines to keep up. We had heard about Finn-Power before, and at Tube & Wire in Germany in 2024, we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the Finn-Power team and the quality of the machines on display,” says Ignacio Baccelli, Sales Engineer at Moro Hidráulica. “We could instantly see a long-term relationship forming.”

Local expertise and certified support

The cooperation strengthens Finn-Power’s presence in South America through Moro Hidráulica’s local expertise, stock, and customer support. As deliveries from Finland to Argentina can take up to three months, local availability and technical competence are important for serving customers efficiently.

Moro Hidráulica has invested in a showroom with Finn-Power products and maintains a large warehouse to serve customers efficiently. The company supports customers from choosing the right machine to delivery, training, and service.

Finn-Power Senior Sales Manager Per Broman has visited the factory in Las Parejas to train the team in the use and service of Finn-Power machines. Moro Hidráulica is now a certified Finn-Power distributor and repair partner.

“Moro Hidráulica has put a lot of effort into training, service, and marketing. They are motivated to develop the business further, and they have the local customer relationships needed to do it,” says Broman.

Building the market together

For Baccelli, one of the strengths of the cooperation has been the strong support from Finn-Power. Even with the long distance and time difference, nothing has been impossible.

“We have always received help when needed. That is very important for us and for our customers. At first, our focus was mainly on Finn-Power crimping machines. Today, the company is also building its expertise in other Finn-Power technologies, ” says Baccelli.

Moro Hidráulica is currently planning the organization of their annual Finn-Power Day for current and potential customers. The event will include presentations, training sessions and the opportunity to test Finn-Power machines – and time to meet more informally.

“In South America, personal relationships are very important in business. Customers want to know who they are working with, not only what machine they are buying. Events like Finn-Power Day help us build trust, show the machines in practice, and spend time with customers in a natural way,” says Baccelli.

A partnership that goes beyond business

For Baccelli, the cooperation with Finn-Power is about more than using and representing a specific machine brand. It is about building something that benefits both companies and their customers.

“It is a win-win situation. We get high-quality machines and strong support from Finn-Power, and we can offer our customers local knowledge, training, service, and original spare parts,” he says.

Over time, the cooperation has also become personal. According to Baccelli, the relationship with the Finn-Power team – and especially with Broman – has grown into a friendship built through regular contact, mutual trust, and shared work.
