Each year Lillbacka Powerco Oy manufactures thousands of different types of crimping machines, as well as hose cutting and nut crimping machines. Approximately 95% of Powerco’s production is exported through an international distributor network to more than 60 countries from the company factory in Finland. Finn-Power is known everywhere for its quality and long-lasting crimping machines, which are produced by Lillbacka Powerco with more than 50 years of manufacturing experience. We offer reliable, durable and accurate crimping machines to meet the requirements of different industries.

During his 43 years at Lillbacka, Seppo Pelkkala has installed electronics, been involved in developing the company’s first microprocessor-based crimping control, designed the electrics for sheet metal processing centers, designed crimping controls, designed the very first Finn-Power quality control option, and oh – also repaired forklifts, built measurement sensors for snowmobiles, and once even repaired the company airplane 🛩️ Each task Seppo faced with calmness, thoroughness, and a solution-oriented mindset. For 43 years, Seppo has been able to work on things he enjoys working on, in his own way, and within a workplace community he feels comfortable in 👇

In 1982, a young man named Seppo Pelkkala was looking for work. When he read in the newspaper about the pioneering work being done at a rapidly growing company called Lillbacka, he thought – that’s where I want to work. And he did. At the end of this year, Seppo will retire after an impressive 43-year career in electrical and electronics installation and design at Lillbacka.
