Hannover Messe, one of the largest trade shows in the world, was held from March 31 to April 4 this year. With over four decades of participation behind us, Lillbacka once again brought a comprehensive selection of Finn-Power machines to Hanover, Germany, where we spent five days presenting our products, innovations, and new launches to an engaged trade fair audience.
This year, we welcomed visitors at the Hannover Exhibition Centre with a team of over 20 representatives, including Finn-Power sales and product development staff and our distributors. Our large stand – designed and built on-site by our own construction team – showcased a machine from virtually every product category. Our main themes this year were service and workshop crimpers, products for OEMs, and various crimping applications. Particularly the following products – some making their debut at Hannover Messe – generated great interest:
ICC4+ Control System
One of the highlights of the show was our brand-new ICC4+ graphical quality control system. Introduced to audiences for the first time at Hannover Messe, the ICC4+ is an advanced version of our ICC4 system, featuring never-before-seen accuracy and ease of use.
CM75QT Semi-Automatic Cutting Machine
The semi-automatic CM75QT cutting machine attracted significant interest, particularly from OEMs. Equipped with an automatic measuring device, the CM75QT ensures the correct cutting length with every cycle, supports quality management, eliminates human error, and dramatically reduces cutting cycle times.
P16BAT Battery-Powered Hydraulic Crimping Machine
The battery-powered P16BAT takes hose repair and field use to a new level. This portable, easy-to-use, and lightweight crimper can be carried to any location, enabling quick service even in remote areas without access to electricity.
Watchman Lite IoT solution
Watchman Lite is a cloud-based IoT solution that enables easy work and recipe management, real-time machine status monitoring, and seamless reporting – using just a web browser. Smart crimping data management without the need for time-consuming IT projects!
ML2 Laser Marking Machine
Our ML2 fiber laser marker offers fast, durable, easily readable, and energy-efficient marking for round objects. The ML2 is an OEM-ready, Laser Safety Class 1 product and can be operated independently with a laptop or via Plug & Play connection to the ICC controller.
Companies Willing to Invest in Products That Boost Efficiency and Quality
This year, Hannover Messe attracted 127,000 visitors from 150 countries. One of the key takeaways from the trade show for Chief Technology Officer Timo Taipalus and Head of Sales Ursula Koivisto was that the profile of attendees this year was particularly strong and well-targeted.
“Even with today’s uncertainties, there is clearly a willingness to invest in solutions that indisputably boost production efficiency and product quality. In many industries, improving production efficiency is essential — and that requires the right product solutions”, notes Taipalus.
Following the busy fair week, the follow-up work with new contacts is now underway. For Koivisto, participating in trade shows – although a significant investment – is an unparalleled way of connecting with existing customers, potential customers, and distributors.
