Lillbacka has been in mutual cooperation with PP-Hydraulics for over 20 years. To PP-Hydraulics’ founder Pertti Portin, Lillbacka has been a familiar company since the 80s. Today, PP-Hydraulics owns two Finn-Power hydraulic hose crimpers.
“We have had the crimpers in active use every single day since the 90s. We originally purchased them used. A couple of years ago we had the first major service done on them: we replaced seals and ordered some new parts from Lillbacka. So, when you compare the amount of usage and the needed repairs during that time, I believe it is safe to say that these machines have an absolutely incomparable lifespan.”
Proper functioning and high quality – year after year
With Finn-Power machines, quality is the number one priority. The machines produce consistently round clamps with highest tolerances not only when they are new, but also 30 years down the line. Lillbacka manufactures the most critical components themselves, guaranteeing the proper functioning of each machine.
“During the entire time we have had them, we have had to put absolutely no thought or effort into our Finn-Power crimpers’ functioning or the quality they produce. They just keep functioning and doing what they are supposed to do, year after year. These machines have been designed to a tee.”

In addition to the machines and their quality, Portin is particularly pleased with their communication with Lillbacka during their more than 20 years of mutual cooperation. PP-Hydraulics has offered Lillbacka hydraulics maintenance services especially for the amusement park PowerPark, owned and operated by Lillbacka. Over the years, the companies have formed a friendly partnership.
