Finn-Power machines are built to last. However, even if the mechanical components of your crimper remain in excellent condition after decades of use, time may have passed by its traditional VS or IS controls.
We now offer a cost-effective and sustainable solution: modernizing your crimper with the VS/IS Control Replacement Package. The package includes installation of a new SCC control and a complete renewal of the machine’s electronics.

Who is it for?
The package is designed for FP, NC, and SP model crimpers equipped with IS or VS controls. It is therefore ideal for modernizing, for example, Finn-Power crimpers originally delivered in the 1990s.
SCC enhances productivity and precision
The Finn-Power SCC control included in the replacement package enhances your productivity, precision, and ease of use. It features a simple, fast, and intuitive touchscreen interface that improves operator comfort and is quick to learn.
The control system allows you to store recipes and create work queues for batch production, reducing setup time and minimizing the risk of operator errors. SCC helps ensure consistently accurate and repeatable crimping.
SCC also takes your data management and connectivity to the next level. Crimping event data can be exported directly from the control system. In addition, the control features USB and Ethernet connections, enabling integration with systems such as production management software.
Other key features include ascending and descending counters, correction values, crimping delay, and step crimping.

Tests and new compliance materials finalize the overhaul
Your machine is shipped to our headquarters in Finland for modernization. Upon arrival, we perform pre-testing to assess the machine’s current operational condition and provide recommendations for any necessary mechanical maintenance.
Next, the existing electronics and control system are removed and replaced with new components.
Once the upgrade is complete, the machine undergoes comprehensive performance and safety testing. Finally, new CE documentation is issued, and the machine is shipped back to you – ready to begin the next chapter of its lifecycle.
The retrofitting process is completed within a week (plus shipping time).
